Projects - The Dragon Slayer Project
Authored by Victorie

Once Victorie made it to level four and received the achievement for exploring Burning Steppes, she hearthed back to Goldshire and was happy to see she could now explore Fargodeep Mine. That little foray went well (I'm loving this stealth) and she got a whopping 1 silver, 25 copper. Now does she use her riches to buy talents or "gear?" Ah, she can learn Pickpocket! YES! So she just blew more than half of her fortune on the ability to Pickpocket, but this should help a lot, no?

Next she went on to Ironforge and Dun Morogh, to explore and look for non-combat quests. She was fortunate to get the Shimmerweed quest, which gave her the very first piece of upgraded gear -- a goat-fur cloak with 9 armor! Hooray!

In Coldridge Valley she found many troggs to pickpocket. She collected enough coppers and miscellaneous items (even some Malachite!) to buy a complete set of starter leather armor. And it couldn't have happened sooner, because her poor bare feet were freezing in all that snow!

But a look at Victorie's statistics has risen a concern. She still has no kills, but I see that her largest hit dealt was 3 points. But, but ... she didn't hit anything! Or did she? Some of that trogg pickpocketing resulted in a little retaliation on their part, and perhaps her having them targeted meant she swung at them with her fists? I'll have to keep this in mind ... I wouldn't want her to accidentally kill something when she simply meant to lighten their pockets.
