Projects - The Dragon Slayer Project
Authored by Victorie

Well, I'm going for it! This afternoon I created Victorie, my rebellious/vindictive/black sheep rogue who refuses to kill any creature except dragonkin. Technically she hasn't yet been "born" in my roleplay storyline, but that's alright -- her twin brother Victore has also already been created in preparation for his debut.

Victorie is a black-haired blond, green-eyed human rogue. She was unable to do any but one level 1 quest in Northshire Abbey, so she's already "run away" in an effort to gain some experience. She explored all of Elywnn Forest and Westfall, managing to get her to level 3. Two more "talk to some guy" quests were available, and one gave her a reward of small pumpkins. She hocked the pumpkins, the cheese she had when she came into the world, and her boots (yes, her boots!) to raise the 10 copper needed to purchase her stealth ability. Other than this, she has no current source of income. I must admit I hadn't anticipated that she'd be so poor. Obviously she'll need to pick up a gathering profession, but she'll need currency just to train for that. Hopefully she can find more talk/fetch quests with rewards she can sell. And she'll need to keep an eye out for treasure chests!

At the moment, she's just about level four and she's now explored half of Redridge and half of Burning Steppes. And no kills of any kind. I must say, I'm having a blast! Stealthing about, finding sneaky ways to get into places, and no worries about even attempting to kill something. It's quite liberating!
