Faded blond, hair is jaw-line length and slightly unkempt
Standard European shape, Icy blue past the glow
5'10"
Medium, but defined.
Slightly Handsome. Has a thick moustache and traces of a beard. Fair skinned. Losing his tan, though...
--He is sporting a clearly disfiguring and crudely-stitched scar on his face, indicating having once been impaled by a large sharp object. As a result, he's legally blind, unable to see more than shapes, shadows, and shades of gray, and lacks any depth perception. He is also sensitive to loud noises or anything that can overwhelm his remaining senses, often resulting in migraines and disorientation -- and even momentary paralyzation.
--If he is caught without his armor (and a shirt with proper sleeves), one will notice a rather large scar on his left shoulder that indicates that he nearly lost his left arm once. In comparison to his other near-fatal scars and the six runic brands on his arms, back and chest, this one large scar seems fairly recent and it's obviously still a little painful.
Casual attire consists of items more suited for Rogues. Prefers soft-soled/sole-less footwear simply for the fact that it's easier to feel the ground. Only wears the full armor and trappings of a Death Knight if out on combat missions, or is traveling to places that are not friendly to his kind. Always wears his helm or a hood of some sort at all times.
Narrator: The first thing that is immediately noticeable is that he seems a touch too friendly to be a Death Knight. The second thing that is noticed is the eerie feeling that he knows you're inspecting him, though he never moves his eyes to acknowledge your presence.
He always seems to be wearing something over his head, be it a simple hood or helm -- but the headcoverings do little to hide a rather massive, disfiguring, and crudely-stitched scar crossing diagonally from right to left across his face. The scar clearly appears to be the remains of the wound that killed this man in the first place. Beyond that nasty scar, though, the death knight seems to be have once been a fairly handsome man in life, and some of that life had managed to carry through in his undead state.
Given his friendly first-impression, and the fact that hasn't reacted negatively at all to your presence and curiosity, perhaps it may be safe to approach him and say 'hello'. Chances are, he won't bite. ... much.
Baccus, his sentient Runeblade
Has a very noticeable western/cowboy accent. Tends to lean towards highly intelligent, (despite the fact he's been stabbed in the face!) and is generally polite.
He is generally introverted. Unless he is actively seeking contact, he generally keeps to himself, content to watch others live so he may learn from them at a comfortable distance. He can be mistaken for cold and/or aloof, if not a little curt when approached. Once he's warmed up to people, though, he's courteous and sociable.
Because he is introverted, he tends to talk to himself a lot... Mostly, it's just him, his runeblade- Baccus, and his Deathcharger- Dionysus. Sometimes, he's quietly acting out disagreements with his id -- his bloodthirsty DeathKnight side, and his peace-seeking human side. As of yet, no strange second personalities. ((... Oh ye GODS let it not come to that!))
Since his arrival and subsequent acceptance into Stormwind, Eleutherios has found work as a courier, shuttling packages and goods between shops. Unless more lucrative work pops up (like security detail or acting as a bodyguard) Eleutherios is content with being a glorified delivery boy.
Side Note: He has taken up Tailoring and Mining, more as hobbies than anything else. Every now and then, though, some of the shops he does deliveries for order certain items and materials that he is able to make and gather on his own.
He has an amazing spatial awareness, something he had developed when he lost his ability to see. This spatial awareness allows him to move about freely as if though he were still a sighted person. Spatial awareness also makes him a dangerous fighter as it allows him to sense where his enemies are coming from. He still bumps into people, objects, and walls every now and then.
--The first and most obvious complication is his class -- He is a Death Knight, and more often than not, his kind are reviled. This alone makes it hard for him to find contacts.
--Second, he is just now coming to terms with what and who he used to be before he was killed and raised as an indentured servant of the Lich King. He has experienced, and will continue to experience, bouts of confusion, and he has been known to clam up and become aloof once things get too hard for him to comprehend.
--Thirdly, he can be a slight bit naiive or absent-minded. When he is actively seeking others to interact with, he might latch on to anyone... even people affiliated with the Horde. He does understand the reason why there is prejudice and division between the wholes, but he doesn't see any harm in making friends with individuals.
Clan Crossdeep (aka "The Dragonguard"), under the leadership of the clan's patriarch, Pterneldan Crossdeep, had taken in Eleutherios as one of their own a few months after his arrival in Stormwind. He wears the clan's sigil on the clasp of his hood as a show of his ties to the clan.
Tuan - A friend from his old life that he managed to reunite with through fortuitous circumstance. The she-rogue has been instrumental in the recovery of his lost memories and identity, and he has been partnered with her over the course of several missions.
Archdruid Pterneldan Crossdeep - Pterneldan took the Death Knight in under his wing not more than a few months after the acceptance of the Knights of the Ebon Blade as part of the Alliance. The archdruid was key in securing Eli's civilian status and provided the reformed death knight stable work as Eli labored to re-establish himself as a functioning member of society. ((Currently: Due to recent circumstances, Pterneldan is considered missing and his whereabouts are unknown.))
Saphrit Crossdeep - Saphrit is Pterneldan's adoptive son, and the current Clan Leader of Clan Crossdeep. Young Saphrit has much respect for Eli, and the Death Knight has served as a sort of mentor and trainer to Saphrit since Archdruid Crossdeep's disappearance.
Clan Crossdeep - Eli considers the clan and its principal members his new family now, and he serves this clan out of honor, respect, and love... virtues that he once feared to have forgotten in the thrall of undeath.
--Naturally, anyone who still hates Death Knights and associates Death Knights with the Scourge is an enemy to him.
--The Scourge itself, of course.
--Anyone who would dare try and harm his clan.
--Recently, a particularly vengeful sect of the Twilight's Hammer has been hunting down the members of Clan Crossdeep. Eli has been working with the clan's council to stem this threat to their organization.
Baccus, the mischievous sentient runeblade
Dionysus (aka Dio), his Deathcharger and seeing-eye horse
Mission
"... Do I need one?"
"When a man loses his eyes, his countenance rises heavenward all the more frequently."
"... Fel, if I know. I'm dead/blind!"
--To learn more about his past and about himself.
--To learn more about the world around him, and to better understand it.
--Running the courier/security business Archdruid Crossdeep entrusted him those years ago...
--The safety and well-being of his friends and his clan.
Currently: Ensuring the safety of Clan Crossdeep in the wake of the vengeance of the Twilight's Hammer.
Ongoing: One day becoming an accepted member of living society again without having to worry about prejudice and fear coming from those he serves.
Priority: Assisting in the search for the missing Clan Patriarch by any means he can spare.
Ongoing: Managing a courier and security service on behalf of Clan Crossdeep.
Occasionally: Partnered with the she-rogue, Tuan, as her brute force and (sort of) guardian on missions.
History
Life -- Moonbrook, Westfall || Undeath -- Acherus, Northrend || Currently -- Stormwind, Elwynn
((For the Expanded Story, watch [www.denofthedragonguard.blogspot.com] for the "Of Light and Void" and the upcoming "Nether and Necrosis" serials. Thank you!))
In A Nutshell -- Eli was a paladin in life (like so many other Death Knights.) He was killed during the Second Scourge Invasion and was raised as a Death Knight aboard the Acherus. Regained his free will at the Siege of Light's Hope Chapel, and was sent back to Stormwind. Pretty straightforward... right?
He chose to be a civilan rather than a vengeful former soldier of the Scourge once he settled into Stormwind, and his odd choice earned him the backing of a high-ranking official from a powerful mercenary guild. This official was the then former Archdruid, Pterneldan Crossdeep. Under the former archdruid's watch, Eli managed to make a stable living as a courier and a functioning member of society, in spite of the still very strong prejudices in the community he serves in.

Welcome to our family of RP geeks, Eleutherios! I'm loving your character details so far -- I can tell you've put a lot of thought into them. I was just reading something about your server -- apparently it has the largest guild of any servers on it!
If you have any questions or suggestions for our site, please let us know! I look forward to learning more about Eleutherios!
Feedback from Eleutherios: *salutes*
Thank you much for your greeting both here and on my Main (Pterneldan), Miss Emeralde. The honors and distinction attributed to Earthen Ring (US) are not surprising, as I started there on Pterneldan ages ago. I do miss the atmosphere there, hence Eleutherios's presence on the server.
What surprised me, though, is the fact there is a very large guild over there... I am familiar with Alea Iacta Est (a horde guild), and it might be the only guild there I know of that can boast that distinction.
Anyways, as said on PT's profile, I'm looking forward to seeing this site grow, and I'll be sure to spread the word, no matter what server I play on.
