Anger issues and an inability to control himself in combat at times.
Rugged robes with an Iron chest plate over it. Runic designs decorate the plate. Carries a sword that seems to glow constantly even when under water, how ever dissipates when no longer in it's owners hand.

Raric tends to be very odd for a warlock, not quite the world domination power hungry brooding demon summoner as one would assume. Well yes he summons demons but often allows their personalities to evolve beyond the shackles. He often uses his sense of humor to cover any sort of uncertainties or simply just to be friendly, doesn't talk too much about his travels or past experiences, but never one not to teach a spell or two.
Tends to accidentally set things on fire.

Setting things a blaze, raining fire and brim stone on his enemies, cooking and sewing.
Loner, he can't seem to remain with a person for very long with out something getting in the way. Bottles up his anger feeling that it is the best way to try keep his powers from flaring.

A curiosity with the arcane, necromancy, followers of light, history in general often drives Raric to far reaches of Azeroth and beyond. How ever occasionally he comes along a loyal friend and stick to them till it is time to part ways.

History
Lordaeron, now the Eastern Plaguelands
Raric began a life as a young eager foot soldier following the path of a Paladin. Training was tough and intense, but Raric felt it was his duty. He often wondered how it was fighting in the Second War against the Orcs, the choas and brutality was unimaginable. How ever things changed for the worst as the Scourge struck the kingdom of lordaeron, undead rising all around his very home lands. A call to arms threw him off his training and into conscription as a foot soldier. A battle against the infinite army of undead was futile.
Among the ruins and destruction the Scarlet Crusade arose as the last safe haven in the now plagued lands. Raric feeling their cause was well intentioned joined their ranks and was trained arts not normally given to a Paladin. Conjuring unholy flames to descimate the enemy, it was explained that you fight fire...with fire. So Raric exceled in this art until the day he was sent off to patrol the forests. Coming across a caravan of human refugees fleeing the lands, the officer incharge requested that they come with them to serve with the Crusade, their refusal deemed them heretics and were sentenced to death on the spot. Raric refusing to do this duty, but watched as the other crusaders murder women and children. That night after a lashing for not following orders, Raric took off into the night leaving his past behind to start a new.
