Character Details

400 (Early 20s in human years)
Female
In a Relationship.
Neutral Good/Neutral/Chaotic Good (It depends on who's judging her or what the situation is.)
Cyan blue waist long hair, usually done in a braid that drapes over her shoulder.
Pale white glowing eyes typical for the Night Elf race.
6'8"
Toned muscled arms of a hunter with a lithe athletic body.
Defined pointed jaw/chin, porportionate nose, slanted eyes, and a thin wide lip.
The only scars that cover Eadan's body as of right now are the markings her animals have given her by rough housing. She is still much too young to bare the markings of epic battles. She has recently developed deep gashes across her back, ruining the giant tattoo of a wolf she had done in memory of her father. More gashes stretch down around the inner thigh of her left leg.
Eadan has advanced to a next step in armor. She is now wearing mail armor instead of worn out leathers. These pieces of armor she finds is probably off of looted bodies when out in the wilderness or perhaps traded with when in local cities. Sometimes she'll even be seen in a revealing top to show off that collection of tattoos when in the city relaxing.
She has a pink, almost peach complexion, though one would only notice this by looking at her neck up. The rest of her body is slowly being covered by a collection of cyan blue tattoos of various animals. Each tattoo is a different animal, some marking names underneath which should lead people to believe they were once her companions. Other names are of rare animals most big game hunters hunted for, their names should be recognizable. The others are nameless, of various creatures she might of seen or wish to see. Perhaps even tame. One notable one in particular is the giant wolf head in the center of her back with the words 'In Memory of Ridash and Talia'. Other then the tattoos, she looks like any normal night elf. The tattoos are her only unique feature.
Bows/Guns and a melee weapon of choice.
Her tone of voice has a slight raspy sound to it as if she's been constantly shouting all day. However there is a melodic rhythm one usually hears in most elves. Despite being a Kal'dorei, she generally speaks Common as it's a universal language everyone should know. Well everyone she wishes to speak to should know. She of course will fall to the more melodic language of her native tongue should it be necessary. ((Think of Pink's rough/raspy tone of singing voice or Angelina Jolie))
Eadan is a very sociable character despite being a wanderer who only comes to the city late at night. Perhaps her long days of being alone out in the wilderness does this to her where she wishes to speak to everyone. Or perhaps it's just her personality alone. Either way, she is usually seen speaking to everyone who wishes to speak to her. Her humor is a bit on the tough side, however, and it may hurt someone's feelings if she doesn't watch her tongue. She is known to have a sharp witty tongue should she be provoked, but most of the time she's just here to have some good friendly fun!
Eadan wouldn't call this unusual but she's practically like one of the guys. You'll often see her with a tankard of ale, making some witty comment and having a few laughs with men in the local tavern. Perhaps even go into some playful wrestling match with a few of them. Not girlie in the least.
Eadan is a huntress and lives off the land to the best of her ability. She of course is still learning but with the living off the land, she obviously would know the professions that work best for that type of style of living. First aid, fishing, cooking, skinning. One would think actually herbalism as well but she actually dabbles in a bit of alchemy using herbs she may get traded when in cities. It helps to know such should one get wounded in the middle of no where.
As of right now, her skills aren't good enough to be considered talents. Due to over-exerting herself, however, she'll probably be one tough scout/tracker/huntress (whatever) to contend with. That is, if she doesn't kill herself in the process.
I'd say one of her main complications is that she is exceedingly determined to be as successful as her father was as a hunter/scout. She's literally breaking her back to walk in his footsteps, over-exerting herself to make her deceased father proud. This has brought her out of the loop of things and sometimes she can be considered 'wild', 'stubborn', 'stupid', 'free bird', 'determined' or any other term. Something she seems to always say in difficult situations is: "If my father can do it, I can."
Despite being a wandering scout, Eadan has recently been surprisingly named one of the Judicator of Northwind Templar. Looks like she needs to become less wild and more officer.
Zarrehk - A rather interesting Night Elf who is quick to get annoyed but who she considers a friend none-the-less. She is currently in a relationship with him.
Axneth - A friendly dwarf she has become acquainted with. So far they've only met a few times but perhaps this will turn out into a new friendship.
Ridash Kennyr'dlues - Father - Deceased
Eadan tries not to make enemies, though her tongue has got her into trouble already within the city with a Death Knight she does not know the name of.
Axilya - A cyan blue and black devilsaur that is smaller than your ordinary devilsaur. She has some attitude that needs adjusting but it will come with training.
Sehki - A baby penguin that is seen in her arms or waddling around behind her.

Mission

Bourgeoning Huntress
"If my stupidity puts a smile on someone's face, then by all means let them laugh! Someone needs to lighten the mood around here, might as well be me."
The Kennyr'dlues have always been wanders of sorts. They're no heroes and they're definitely a family no one remembers in any war, however they did their part. As wanders they know this land about as well as one would know the back of their own hand. They're the ones that would guide soldiers through foreign lands to their destination or the ones tracking day old trails to an enemy. Her father was one of the best and a year ago he was killed, leaving her to walk in his footsteps. She now strives to be the next wanderer to walk the wilderness and try everything in her power to hold the tradition.
To be everything her father is/was.
- Learn how to survive off the land and only the land.
-- Exploring the lands of Outlands with her newly acquired devilsaur (a prize for conquering the lands of Azeroth).
-- Training with a mysterious Death Knight to get ready for Northrend.

History

Technically she has no 'hometown'. She was birthed out in the wild by her mother and they traveled constantly from campsite to campsite.

400 years ago was when Eadan was born and with that came the death of her mother. She had died giving birth to Eadan out in the wilderness, it proving too much for the woman to handle. This had left Ridash, Eadan's father, to take care of his daughter on his own. It was a struggle, of course, due to Eadan not having the nutrients a mother was suppose to give. Ridash had to make a formula and practically force feed baby Eadan in order to keep her alive. This was the first time the man sought help from local towns and stayed within them until Eadan was stable enough for him to take care of on his own.

There is not much else to say between her birth and her father's death. Both Eadan and Ridash kept hidden for most of her life, living off the land. He taught her how to hunt and how to use every part of the animal she hunted. He taught her a bit on how to bandage injuries, what herbs did what to help with any sort of sickness. He worked with her on how to survive just on the land alone. From time to time, however, he left her to watch the campsite while he went to help out in the various wars or quarrels. That was one quality she liked about her father, how he seemed to aid anyone he saw who needed help. He would sometimes be gone for months on end, leaving her to move from campsite to campsite. Set up on her own, hunt on her own. It helped her learn, that was for sure.

Two years ago, Eadan was camping in Darkshore and awaiting the return of her father. She felt lonely, as always when her father is gone, having not yet learned to tame a companion of her own. As she was hunting for fresh food, she heard the small whimpers of an animal within the bushes. A moonstalker kitten was on its own and from the small size of it, it was a runt. Knowing the mother would not be coming back for him, she decided to raise him. Thus Sieruil was founded. Ridash returned the same night and saw Sieruil with a proud look on his face. He helped his daughter, teaching her early how to handle wild animals. He helped her raise the moonsaber up to what he is today.

A year ago, Ridash once again went off to aid more adventurers. However, he did not return. The Scourge cut off their path to Northrend and overwhelmed him. He had called to the people he was guiding to run, providing a distraction to give them enough time to seek safety. Unfortunately, Ridash was defeated. The news was brought with one message, Ridash' wolf tracked down Eadan with the last bit of energy he had. Eadan knew by the looks of the severe wounds upon the wolf and the sorrowful look in his eye that her father wasn't returning. She took care of the old beast until his last breath was taken. Stories have always been told that with the death of a hunter, their life long companion would die shortly after.

Now Eadan roams the wilderness alone, Ridash and his wolf strong in her heart. As a memory of them both, a large tattoo was done of the wolf upon her back.

Due to a relationship forming between her and her friend, Zarrehk, Eadan no longer seems to live off the land fully. As a matter of fact, she's starting to become accustomed to sleeping in a bed in the city at night instead of in her campsite out in the wilderness. She still roams the lands and hunts during the day at least.

As days go by, Eadan is slowly starting to better get to know herself and how she ticks. She's finally mourned for the first time for her father and realizes she really does miss a father figure in her life. She's also learning how to settle down and think before she acts out in the wilderness, though she does still slip up occassionally when in the city.

Eadan finally gives in to refusing help in training and is now surprisingly seeking training from a mysterious death knight. A crash course in what to expect in Northrend has made her realize the dangers she will be facing out there on her own when the time comes.

Eadan seems to be taking training from a mysterious death knight.

Parting Ways

Created On: 11/10/2009 13:28:47
I have spoke with the mysterious trainer and he feels that if I can tame a Jormungar, then I can brave Northrend without any more training. Which is good because I was about to tell him myself that I need no more training. Zarrehk will be happy to hear this, I'm sure.

Speaking of Zarrehk, I had missed him for the passed four days. I was worried, I even went as far as to search for his remains while he was searching for Des' remains. He finally returned to the city last night and in very terrible condition. I helped removed the caked on blood and mud from his body and bandaged all the wounds I could. He finally came to the conclusion that there was no sign of Des in Duskwood. I have no idea what to do with the guild if that is the outcome.

Jormungar are rather interesting beasts to own. They're pretty much giant worms and their chisel type teeth are good to bore through anything in Northrend. What I'm shocked to discover is their diet consists of cheese, bread and fungus! With teeth like that, I'd think they'd at least be carnivores. Their acidic spit is a problem when I roam the city as it tends to drool a lot. It eats right through the stone on the ground!

Handshake

Created On: 11/04/2009 17:04:05
A handshake is all it took to basically agree to being the mysterious man's student after I had a heated discussion with him. He will be teaching me how to survive and I'll be his student. Of course I'll get wounded in the process as mistakes, just like out in the real world, will get you wounded. He was teaching me hand to hand combat last night, something I'm very poor at doing but is obviously something I should learn better as I'll not always been at range with my bow. I did decent but I did get caught into the side by one of his axes and a rather jarred shoulder. It's bruised but it's hard to tell with the tattoos decorating that area.

My alchemy has finally advanced and I now have to step into Northrend in order to continue my studies with it. Learn about the new herbs and what they can create. I am now spending most of my time when not training or visiting Zarehk cooking and fishing. It's something I've always enjoyed doing, cooking what I've freshly caught or hunted down in the wilderness. Perhaps I'll learn some new recipes now that I've got the time to.

Zar should be proud of me for my ability to think before I risked my life. I'm starting to learn how not to be reckless. Yes, adventure and danger is exciting but I need to do it in a safe manner. It should make him feel better about me finally taking the boat out to Northrend. Now, if only I can get my trainer to give me the okay.

Quiet

Created On: 11/01/2009 08:22:41
I have received enough reputation with the Kurenai to be considered one of the exalted. I suppose it's my ruthless way of killing their enemies and how determined I was to stay amongst the ogres killing anything they send my way that exalted my status. Either way, I was gifted that cobalt talbuk I had my eye on. I'm still thinking of a name for him, as a matter of fact I'm thinking of a name for my mist saber I've had all this time as well.

Besides that, things have been very quiet these days. After my first lessons, I've not had another. I suppose he is busier than I thought. Zarrehl has me worried, however. He got himself into a predicament where he was attacked by worgen within Duskwood. Those wounds are festering and I've tried everything I could to help drive the infection out of them. Hopefully they'll heal properly with more doctoring on it, if he'd stop roaming into Duskwood to open them up again.

I understand why he's doing such, however. It's about Des. It seems that paladin has gone off and disappeared on us, leaving us as the only two holding up the guild. Zarrehk has been heading into Duskwood searching for remains or any sign of Des to figure out just what has happened with him. We don't know what to do in the mean time so I said to just wait it out and we'll decide at a later date. So long as he doesn't kill himself in the process of looking I'll be fine. I offered my ability to track to him but he said he doesn't think it's worth it, so perhaps he'll stop looking. Though determination is strong with him like it is with me.

I allowed my devilsaur to roam for a bit within the city and regretted it the minute I called her back. She returned with a merchant's cart remains wrapped around her. The canopy used to shade the buyer's area was wrapped around her head, shattered remains of the wooden cart still attached to the canopy and dangling off her sides. It was obviously a food stand as smashed fruits were spotting her scales with colors. I had to give the big girl a bath! That was quite hilarious, the look on her face was priceless. As for the merchant? Well I used my charm to get out of paying for his cart. Much like I used it to get out of paying for supplies to help heal Zarrehk's wounds. Perhaps he is rubbing off on me a bit if I keep this sly ability up. Ha!

I've been fishing for the past few days due to it being quiet, learning new techniques and skills to catch the more rarest of fish. I'm learning a lot but I wished people would please stop throwing trash in the rivers?! I could probably make myself a new shirt with all of the tattered cloth I've gathered. I'm wondering who is running around naked with the amount of cloth floating down river. Ha!

First Lesson

Created On: 10/30/2009 06:25:11
Ugh, I've never been this worn out in my life and I've had some pretty trying times in the wilderness before. My first lesson with the mysterious man, which by the way now knows my name but I still don't know his, happened within Stormwind Harbor. He wanted to show me a bit of what to expect out there in the frigged north. It started with him becoming colder than what I've felt up there in Winterspring, which wasn't at all comfortable with the thin leathers I wear now. Note to self, I need warmer armor and a thicker undershirt before heading up to Northrend.

I of course was joking around the entire time with his love, who was there obsessing over him the entire time. By Elune you couldn't get her off of him! She was like a school girl giddily drooling over some tall, dark and handsome stranger in a storybook. I did warn him I was no teachers pet, I am indeed a handful and probably more like your class clown if anything. I had said, "wouldn't it be funny if you dared someone to go up to him and lick his armor right about now? They'd get their tongue stuck or frozen off!"

By this time, he was standing on the water on a thin sheet of ice he had formed. The minute three frozen ghouls rose up from the ice, however, I straightened up quicker than a scolded child who did something wrong. My task? Take down these ghouls upon the ice without my devilsaur at my side. I thought he was joking, but apparently he doesn't joke often. Now, I quickly allowed the gears to turn in my head despite the freezing temperatures surrounding me. It's obvious with these frozen ghouls that they'd be immune to any ice, so my enchanted frozen traps wouldn't work. I also knew my aim would be off as I'm not use to such frozen temperatures, at least in the beginning. My adrenaline would kick in and I've learned how to utilize that adrenaline rush to my abilities already as I'm an adrenaline junky.

My task started the minute I jumped off the ledge onto the sheet of ice where the ghouls awaited with their weapons and frozen armor. In the back of my mind, I couldn't help but wonder if this is a slight version of what my father may of come across when he was taken down up in Northrend. Out in frozen temperatures with ghouls like these surrounding him. Probably more than three, which meant he would have to try to fight them off without the help of his wolf at his side. Talia can only do so much as she was such an old wolf. So, I put myself in his shoes on what he may of done to bring these ghouls down while his wolf fought off others.

With these ghouls in such a close proximity to me, I made like a monkey and leaped around like a fool. The minute I landed, one of the three ghouls charged at me with his blade in which I blocked with the thick barrel of my skull gun. Irony that my gun is cut to look like the bones and skull of a person? I just got it too and here I am, using it against ghouls. Quick on my feet, I strafed my way out of the ghoul's way in order to aim a shot into his skull. I managed to stun him in order to deal with the other two.

So many tricks had to be pulled out of my sleeve from springing back to disengage any melee charging my way to setting an explosive trap to explode the ice and the ghouls that ran across it. I had a very deep and bleeding gash cut into my leg from getting hit and several puncture wounds from ice shards from my explosive trap. I even inhaled some kind of disease the ghouls had breathed into the air, a Frost Fever I believe is what the death knight called it. At the end of the lesson, I was being dragged under by all three ghouls. Some of them partially damaged. According to the man I had 'won' but I don't consider being dragged underwater fighting for air until the ghouls dissolve by his command winning.

The disease had to be quickly dealt with afterwords, along with the wounds. Luckily his love is a healer and was right there to deal with it. My body is physically worn out but I still hold my pride and ready for any more he decides to dish out. Zarrehk isn't too happy though when I told him. I'm worried for him, I found him wounded when I went to his house. He said it was from Duskwood but still, if he can worry about me I can worry for him.

The Mysterious Man

Created On: 10/29/2009 09:34:48
What is it with me and attracting the mysterious ones? Though I do suppose me wandering by with a giant devilsaur marching behind me is a conversation starter, huh? I had spent all of yesterday absorbing Nagrand's more peaceful side. It was absolutely relaxing and allowed me time to think. Think of my father and my memories with him, even mourn for him the way natural people mourn. This was probably the first time I decided against holding back those tears and instead taking in that burning feeling one gets for trying to stop a natural emotion. It felt good to cry, as I've not cried before. Well, except for when I was a child but that's a given.

Afterwords, I wandered back into Telaar and caught my eye on a ride-able Talbuk. I've hunted them before but never thought of riding one myself. Only the most exalted amongst their people are allowed to ride them, so I figured I'd stick to Nagrand until I'm finally deemed a more exalted person. It shouldn't take me long as they seem to be having problems with both the Killsorrow still roaming there and the ogres. Since I'm a wanderer, I believe I'll only get one as I've got my saber as well. Who knows, maybe at the end of my expeditions throughout this world I will become more of an animal collector and come back for more.

That night I didn't return to the city and instead camped out upon one of the many floating islands still hovering over Nagrand. They seemed stationary enough and it was out of the way of the dangers below. Surely Zarrehk will understand my need for that time alone. It put me at ease, though when I returned back to the ground my Devilsaur wasn't too happy with me for leaving her in the stables in Telaar.

That morning I traveled to the city to gather more supplies as I'll be needed more bullets than necessary to begin my grind through a bunch of ogres holding up caves in the surrounding areas of Nagrand. While there, I wandered for a bit to rest and came across a rather mysterious death knight who stopped me to ask about just what kind of ranger I was with such a large animal. What seemed like a few minutes broadened to a few hours as we continued with our talk, not even once pausing to introduce ourselves. He was hidden behind a cowl but his eyes were the unmistakable glow of a Death Knight. I had mentioned my goal to reach Northrend soon and he gave me a few warnings to look out for. The cold, giants, the unliving. I of course know of the cold and undead, but so many giants?

In the end, he had offered me training lessons. Now, I'm very skeptical of this. My father was my only trainer and I looked upon him as my idol. Any trainer would have to win me over in order for me to listen to half of what they say. I warned him of this as well but he seemed knowledgeable and was quick to know I was sharp-witted. He had mentioned he had really nothing else to do but roam the city so I might as well tickle his fancy or whatever the saying is. That pumpkin though, I'll be woman enough to admit it creeps me out.

I don't know what this mysterious man's name is, all I know is I've got an enchanted pumpkin seed I'm suppose to keep and a death knight as a supposed trainer. He'll be in for a wild trip, as I'm no teachers pet. Let see if he can keep up with me and I'll see just what it is he's expecting to train a huntress. Ha! This will be a story I know Zarrehk would growl at me for. Maybe.

Welcome, Eadan, to our family of RP geeks! Nice to see a fellow Moon Guardian here. I like your description of her so far -- you've described your WoW character well, and I can tell she is young. I'd love to hear more! Please let me know if you have any questions.
