Background Story:
Alarrik was born into the Ridgewell family as the youngest son. His older brother (Nikolas Ridgewell) stood to inherit the title and dukedom. Without title or lands, and a fair amount of resentment toward the "nobles," Alarrik entered into the military. Specifically, he joined the People's Militia in Westfall, as he felt the ruling class of Stormwind had abandoned it. When his father and brother were killed in the war, Alarrik suddenly came into wealth and nobility. But he shunned it, despite pleas from his mother to attend to his duties, marry a well-bred lady, and carry on the lineage. He prefers the outdoors and his horses to ballrooms and silly women. He'd rather be doing good in the world than doing his duty to shallow nobles who worry more about party invitations and successions.
