Alto Fenrig : Baron of the City of Freeport
Once the Arch-Baron of the Eastern Gardia Province, Alto Fenrig found himself forced from the provincial throne by his eldest son Myran Fenrig. Worn down by old age and the recent unexplained murder of his youngest child Malon Fenrig, Alto is regarded as a good man in a position where he is forced to turn a blind eye to the corruption that he opposed so greatly in his youth. Old, sick and sorrowful, Baron Alto Fenrig may very well be seeing his final days in a city wrought with crime and greed.
Tobias Leer : Royal Ambassador
Regarded as one of Gardia's most talented ambassadors, Tobias Leer has been given the task of successfully bringing Freeport back under royal rule after its proclamation of independence from Gardia as a "free-city" five years ago. Negotiations have so far been unsuccessful but have stirred a fire in the hearts of the commoners who must deal with the cities corruption on a regular basis.
Baldon Tall : Captain of the Black Company
After Freeport became a independent city, The Kingdom of Gardia was quick to pull the majority of its resources from the "traitor city". Threatened by military action, The "Trader Barons" were quick to enlist the help of they're own private protection. Within three days the sails of the Black Company mercenaries where seen in the cities ports and within a week the mercenaries had fortified Freeport's defenses and placed its commoners under the steel boot of their captain, Baldon Tall.
Theron Fennix: Trader Baron of Freeport
The wealthiest of the conspirators, Theron Fennix paid for the cities new management, The Black Company. Once regarded as a bold politician, The wealthy trader baron has barricaded himself in his manor for fear of some unseen threat. Rumors say that he owes someone a small fortune he has yet to pay.
Talion Voduur : Trader Baron of Freeport
Talion Voduur, With a tongue of gold, Has swayed countless nobles to support his actions over the city of Freeport. His connections earned him a network for blackmail and bribery that has yet to be broken. Voduur knows the dangerous game he plays and that for every betrayal there lies another in wait. Rumors say that Talion Voduur is growing increasingly worried about his partners actions and has taken to hiding within his secret network.
