Character Details

"Cordie"
24
Female
Kanika Goldwell (Mother), Mortan Fester (Uncle, Adopted Father), Tobie "Fuseless" Goldwell (Father, Deceased).
True Neutral, Cordie does what she feels like without submission or resentment of authority, as well as being morally flexible
Black, Cordie does up her hair in a mohawk. Her hair is very springy, often 'bouncing' back into shape regardless of her headgear.
Violet
3'3, 3'5 if you count the hair
Cordie is somewhat slender for a goblin, but remains shapley.
Her hands are covered and cauterized wounds, though this is rarely seen due to gloves.
Cordie's hands are covered in burns and are for the large part scarred to the point of near insensitivity. Though this makes it difficult for her to feel pain, she has a tendancy to break fragile objects if she dosen't pay special attention to them.
Cordie wears purple robes, accented by gold trim. Deep velvet gloves cover her hands. When out, she wears a Haliscan brimmed hat. When she dosen't want her 'good clothes' to get damaged, she wears a robe, gloves, and boots made from spun flax.

Her armor in battle is of considerably different appearance however, at the moment, she wears lightly armored white robes with gold plated buckles to keep the light, flexible leather in place.
Cordie's most prominent feature must be her fauxhawk, along with several silver rings in each ear and an emerald stud in her right nostril. Her black hair provides a stark contrast to her yellow-green skin and the occasional minor burn mark adorns her hand.
Cordie rarley resorts to weapons, but when she does, it's her Azsharite Felbane staff. She preffers this staff because it is one of the only in existence, and the creation of it has a rich history. Besides... Azsharite is powerful explosive in a pinch.
Cordie speaks quick and excitedly sometimes, often in stream of consciousness. Anything that comes to her mind swiftly finds its way into the open air with little or no filtering.

Cordie dosen't study languages, but often picks them up. She can speak, read, and write Orcish and Goblin, and is aware of simple phrases in Thalassian and Auran, which is a dialect of Kalimag. Cordie can write Ursine script, but has difficulty speaking it. She once spoke common fluently, but abandoned the practice to further symbolize her breaking of relationships with the Alliance.
Cordie is as outgoing as they come, often to a fault. She has no problem walking up to total strangers in engaging in a (frequently one-sided) conversation.

Cordie is also decidedly difficult to dissuade or depress, she sees the bright side of nearly every situation. Her apparent naivety when it comes to overwhelming odds is a testament to her common sense however, not her intellect. However small the prospect of hope, Cordie works (and thinks) hard to bring the good out of dire circumstances and unfortunate events.
Cordie's quirks could fill a book, but the most prominent is her ability to block out all outside influences when she's telling a story (or ranting, or rambling, or babbling.) This wouldn't be a problem, except at a point when a subject she has knowledge of is mentioned, even in passing. Unfortunatley for all our ears, Cordie's knowledge is vast and thorough.
Cordie is a very skilled tinkerer, though all her inventions tend to be too specialized or unstable to be of any real use. She also advertises herself as a "Blingsmith", which is little more than a glorified jewelcrafter.
Cordie's great talent is her ability to remember almost everything she comes in contact with in, at the very least, sparse detail. When she learns through experience or exploration, her memory is even better.

Cordie also fancies herself a master trader, though she tends to be too blunt and forward to sell a product to anyone who isn't looking for it in the first place.
Like every goblin, Cordie has a desire for gold. However, hers is decidedly less so than other goblins. Her chief desire is knowledge, though knowledge and stories are in fact Cordie's trade, so it stands to reason that she can be tempted by a great deal of information as often as a great deal of gold.
Steamwheedle Cartel (Formerly), Gordok Ogre Clan (Formerly),The Fanta-Sea Crew (Formerly), Kirin Tor.(Formerly), Braintrust of Orbital Operations and Mechanics(Formerly),The Horde, Goblin Experimental Engineering Kompany
Blodwen(Friend), Shia (Friend), Frickle (Friend, Classmate), Draza Goldfox (Former Crew Member, Friend), Robert "Bobby" Skelling (First Mate), Salrik Stronbow (Friend), Kanika Goldwell (Mother), Mortan Fester (Uncle, Adopted Father), Tobie "Fuseless" Goldwell (Father, Deceased).

Cordie gets along with the Timbermaw Furbolg, the Northsea Freebooters, and The Consortium.
Shen'Dalar, Mountain Gaurd, Deadwood Furbolg, Bloodsail Buccaneers, The Alliance (Paticularly Draenei, Gnomes, Night Elves and Humans)

Mission

Seeker of Lost Knowledge
"Your salvation has come, and it's affordably priced!"
Cordie is filled with a singular drive to discover knowledge and wisdom, particularly of the archaic variety. Then to sell this knowledge and wisdom to the highest bidder.

Though Cordie understands most magic, she prefers to use therugic magic (the channeling of divine sources) because it does not run the risk of addiction like arcane magic does. The fact that most common folk refer to her of a priest upsets clergy more than her, however.
Cordie's goal is to, simply, know everything. Ever. A long term goal, of course, but a goal none the less.

The nigh impossibility of this goal does not seem to bother Cordie in the least.
Cordie is constantly working on tinkering side-projects, but these pale in comparison to her overall work. The patchwork of stories Cordie tells about her so-called adventures run the gambit from plausible to absurd, but regardless of the truth in them, her adventures are mostly entertaining.

History

Cordie was born in Edj, on the Isle of Kezan, though she was conceived in Booty Bay. She left Edj in search of her fortune at the age of twenty-one...ish.

Cordie Angelprice was formerly Becky Goldwell, a young arena janitor cleaning up bloodstains with dreams of becoming a mage. In time, she collected her hard earned coins and left Kezan in hopes of being accepted into the Kirin Tor.

Many pitfalls befell the young goblin on her journey, but in the end all these run ins with the supernatural made a lasting impression. She met a grand variety of people in her travels, from undead pirates to half-elven tinkerers.

But by the time she made it to Dalaran and became a Kirin Tor initate, she realized that magic could not grant her the information she desired, and so she set off once again in search of wisdom... and the profit she could make off it.

The tales of her adventures between then and now are far too many to list.

The defining moment in the career however, begins with her death. While working for the Braintrust of Orbital Operations and Mechanics in the Netherstorm, Becky Goldwell blew herself up testing a new type of rocket fuel that doubled as a delicious bubbly beverage.

Upon death, Becky was greeted by a angelic spirit healer, who informed her that her time had come, and that she was to take her place in the afterlife. Ever the haggler, Becky instantly drew up a contract that would return her to life. Unused to jargon and wheeling and dealing, the spirit healer agreed, and fell prey to the fine print. Fine print that entitled one, Cordie Angelprice to be majority shareholder of her divine power, and inherited all of Becky Goldwell's earthly possessions.

The ruse worked, upon being returned to life, Becky Goldwell changed her name. Now Cordie Angelprice. In keeping with goblin tradition, Cordie had changed her last name feeling she outstripped her forbearer. But also changed her first name, convinced that she's just that awesome. Of course, this had the added benefit of letting her keep all her stuff too...

Between her letters with Salrik Stronbow, Cordie made her first long-time friend. She adopted alot of orcish ideals, though they are all filtered through what accounts as goblin culture. Still, with her father being a minor hero of the second war, the people of the Horde have made a much better first impression on her than the Alliance since leaving Kezan.

Cordie only had a sparse number of divine powers gained from bargaining with various minor gods, but her true priestly power came from a deal she made in Netherstorm.

Upon being destroyed by her one of her own inventions, she encountered a powerful angelic spirit in the afterlife, who informed her it was her time to die. Obviously, Becky was not to be defeated, and drew up a contract with the spirit healer which would return her to life. In the end, the spirit healer accepted the contract, which would be her undoing, the fine print also entitled the would-be priestess to be majority share-holder of the spirit's power.

Reveling in her victory, Becky Goldwell decided that her achievement was so great, it outstripped her ancestor, Tobie Goldwell, who invented the wishing well. Even changing her first name was too small to reflect this, she needed to change her first name aswell! And so Becky became Cordie Angelprice, and began her new life as a priestess.

Dear Uncle Mortan,

I'm sorry I haven't written since I got the Fanta-Sea, everything has been up in the air, or rather, down in the water.

Basically, I lost the ship off the coast of SIlverpine, I lost my crew, and most of the cargo. I made it to The Undercity but by the time I got to Vengance Landing I just needed hightailed it out of there. Those Forsaken folks are alright and all, but since Ol' Lichy went kersplat, well, they're all off. Without all that bad vibe driving them to kill the boyo, they have to find a new identity. That's not why I don't like them thought, it's that they remind me of home, all the bad parts of it. The Forsaken are more like goblins than they'll probably ever admit, they just have all of the jargon and none of the boom.

After that, I stopped at Valliance Keep but, I'm tellling you uncle, don't trust the Alliance. I think they've paraded around so long as the good guys they've forgotten they can be just as bad. They've got a Steamwheedle goblin held hostage and are using his zeppelin against pirates! Not even keeping it fixed up! It's barbaric!

I did what I could for him, I guess. I wish I could just bust him out of there, but then they'd just treat every goblin like him. So I gouged every extra copper I could out of those guys and I gave it over to the lead orc at Conquest Hold. Not only are the beating up the Alliance, but they're driving out the Venture Company too! I know they make the Cartel alot pop, but they make our whole species look bad, ya know?

We look bad enough as it is, I was talking with some of the engineers at Rustnozzle. All the other races see us as swindlers, thieves, and mercs. I love money and shiny junk as much as the next gal, but we need to stand for something more than just how Azeroth sees us.

Alright, my ride to Dalaran is ready, I'll write back if it dosen't blow up!

Oh! Tell Meg and Izzy to write, huh? Ever since they went to work for Gallywix I haven't heard from them.

Love,

Becky

Found this lying around, taped it to the journal cause it was interesting. You'd be amazed how much wisdom people are just willing to toss aside because it sounds crazy.

(There are a few bits of the page that can be read, but most are too damaged)

"Praise Hoigmin(smudge), the cake (stain) , truth is (blot) in pie. All rules only (tear) as long as (stain) , I cannot free you, you only you can deny yourself the cake."

(The rest of the page is too smudged to read)

That storm was a nightmare, It's a good thing Skelling made this ship so seaworthy, I'd have yet another wrecked ship on my hand. A sinking ship isn't nearly as fun as crashing zeppelin. I wish that Ninja would keep me more company, that little firecracker.

At any rate, we'll arrive at Faldir's Cove soon, but I think we'll stay longer than previously anticipated. I don't like these storms, and I don't like the idea of being stranded at sea for Light knows how long.

Those gnome scholars there, in their typical overly obessessive fashion will buy the artifacts I picked up Eldre'Thalas. I don't like selling them to gnomes, but they'll pay big money and their gold is good. I suppose they aren't Alliance though, and the fact they've sided with the Blackwater Raiders lends some creed to greater than normal judgement. Like that one gnome who lives in Booty Bay and makes explosive chickens, now that's a gnome who knows his stuff!

Besides, I hear Faldir's Cove is home to a really powerful elemental artifact, I'm sure I can sell that to a shaman or something, I just need to pry it out of the ground and I'll be gold! Solid gold!

Things are all back to normal, we were stuck for a few days off the coast of Khaz Modan. The storms coming from the Maelstrom have been getting stronger, maybe it's the changing of the seasons or something, Skelling, the old seadog that he is can't seem to figure it out either.

Though I did have the talk with our guest, Ninja. It's weird, I've seen a lot of stuff since I left Edj but I never realized how different everything was. I suppose I thought Kezan was like everywhere and everywhere was like Kezan, I wonder what else I've missed out on.

Whatever the case, sea life is getting to me, here's hoping for a little shore-leave when we get to Faldir's Cove.

Cordie's journal is, more appropriatley, a collection of letters and documents haphazardly stuffed into one place. Several pages stick out from the leather bound cover.

There journal also has a complex lock, one that is obviously rigged to explode should it be tampered with.

Across the binding is the name "Goldwell" written in simple, plain ink. However, this has been crossed out and hatched through several times, replaced under it is the name "Angelprice", which is written in beautiful gold script.

Added a full time-line to the history tab, starting with Cordie's conception and events in her life as they relate chronologically to major events in Warcraft. Hopefully this will clear up any confusion my readers (I have those, right?) may have.
