The air chills as he draws near, like a winter wind heralding an approaching blizzard. He moves with unyielding confidence and sinuous grace, his boots leaving a thin layer of frost upon the ground with each step. Even when completely relaxed, something about his posture tells you that he is poised to strike at any given moment.
He stares at you with fathomless blue eyes, both of them glowing brightly like magical sapphires. His skin is smooth as burnished glass, dark and icy cold to the touch. His hawkish facial features are marred by a jagged scar that originates above his left eye and slashes diagonally over the bridge of his nose to the right side of his jaw. His ears, once long and tapered like most Kal'dorei, have been chopped to half their normal length.
Every one of his mounts, whether on land or in the sky, is decorated with the countless Scourgestones of his fallen enemies, the macabre trophies rattling softly as he rides. Tendrils of mist snake from his mouth whenever he speaks. His voice is deep and unnaturally hollow, reverberating like an echo in a vast cavern.
History
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ A hastily written letter was discovered amongst the debris of the Alliance warship, Iron Mercy. It was found two hundred miles off the coast of Kul Tiras, four years after the fall of Lordaeron. The message read:
"Light help me, the stories from Boralus are true. The Scourge has found us. The dread Captain Winterwrath and his undead crew have boarded the Iron Mercy. My men and I are doomed. I have locked myself in my cabin...but it is only a matter of time. Their black ship, the Sea Cauldron, has already sealed our fate. I too am now infected. I can't think clearly. Something inside of me...something inside is chang-"
The letters dissolved into mindless scribbling. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Quests
