Character Details

Star
Roughly 66
Female
Single
Chaotic Good
Deep crimson in a bun
Blue
5'6''
Slender, petite, Hourglass body
She has a heart-shaped face, small ski-jump nose, and pale complexion.
She has a sickness she aquired at a very young age. The only way she will live is to absorb life and the souls of others. She has been slightly disfigured when she went through an early metamorphosis. She now has horns, and blackened claws for hands.
She wears a mask, that has some enchantments on it to hide her blue eyes with green ones, her short ears with long ones, and the horns on her forehead. The gloves she wears are enough to hide her hands.
Istaria is tall, her hair drops a few strands of hair to frame her face elegantly.
Sword, scythe, dagger, staff.
Istaria speaks with a commonish accent when she speaks Orcish. She knows how to speak Demonic, for that's how she controls her demons. She speaks Thalassian. But for some reason, she does not know common....
She is very kind and generous to everyone she meets. Sometimes, she can be very outgoing, laugh and joke around. But sometimes, she is very shy, and quiet, not talkative to those she doesn't know.
She will stop at nothing to stop a fight, even if it means fighting herself. She does not like uneccessary violence, especially when it's between races of the same faction. But she revels in the death of whom she does kill.
She is an expert alchemist and a Master at Herbalism. She mixes when not at the Argent Tournament Grounds or going for her nightly walk.
She is a Demonologist, and doing that, she commands demons....and transforms into a demon-like creature. Despite this, she seems adept at the Destructive magics of the Warlock's skills.
She wishes to befriend a lot of people...but she is afraid that she could scare them off with her horns.
She is heavily affiliated with the Reqiem of Blood, AKA, the Tower and it's members, even though she is not a part of them herself.
She has many friends, and no family at all. Her best friend seems to be the Elder of the Tower, Korvalus, but she does not appear to have any other friends...
The former members of the Broken guild, Destination Forever...
She has several pets. Her minions are as follows:
The imp Azfip, the Voidwalker Kraggak, the Succubus Bryneth, the Felhunter Traadhun, and the Felguard Zurilshak.
As for other pets, she has a small Faerie Dragon Hatchling she rescued named Thoth, and a cockroach named Gross, and a Kirin Tor Familiar....which doesn't have a name. Her favorite mount is a Black Bear she named Cheese.

Mission

Master Demonologist/The Pure-hearted
"When pressed, even a beautiful flower can be preserved forever."
Istaria did not choose to become a Warlock, she HAD to, under the reason that it was the only way she could live from her current sickness.

She chose to be a fighter of good morals, because she did not want to be considered an evil person just because she delved into the Darker magic.
Istaria is working her best for the Horde. She protects the citizens of the cities from attacks by the Alliance, she travels to Northrend to help thin the numbers of the Scourge, she goes to the broken lands of Draenor to fight against the Legion, and she competes in the Argent Tournament, representing the Horde as a Champion of the Argent Crusade.
She is currently working on gaining the courage to tell Korvalus her true feelings and becoming a Champion of the Undercity in the Argent Tournament!

History

Istaria was born in Lordaeron's Capital City. She sleeps in Dalaran, but does not have a home to call her own.

This was written by a Keeper of Time, and given in text, to the person specified....

"Long ago, there existed a fair woman. She was very kind, and helped all who needed it. A n elf was she, a Highbourne. Although she hungered for magic,  she fought it hard, just as she fought back the Trolls of Amani aside her kin and their leader, Dath'Ramar Sunstrider. This elven woman, who was there when the Sunwell was created, preached to the elves of a coming age of prosperity.

The elves finally reached it, thanks to the wonderful alliance with the Human nation of Arathor. The woman died of sickness however...
She was laid in a tomb in the graveyard of the many slain in the wars with the Amani Trolls.
This woman's name...was Istaria Valien.

Hundreds of Years later, the newborn child of a Human male, Agrion Bladesmith, and an Elven Woman, Silaina Man'Tari, was born in the safety of Lordaeron's Capital City. The child was named Istaria. Little did the parents know whom they named the child after...for it is said the spirit of Istaria Valien lived inside of the child.

The child fell ill soon after it was born. It was thought that nothing could save this poor girl. Even the priests of the Cathedral of Light in the mighty kingdom of Stormwind could do nothing to save this small child. Agrion and Silaina were distraut that their beautiful child was sure to die.

A man in a dark hood came to them one day, proposing them of a way to save their child. He told them of the Dark Arts...and they obliged. Taking Istaria from the two teary parents, the man, known as Adrammalech, stole into the wilderness, raising the child almost as his own.

Stormwind, defiled, the Orcs invading, the Dark Portal opening....
These events lead to the pathways to the Blasted Lands, where Adrammalech taught Istaria the ways to preserve herself with Fel-magics. Her sickness, which will remain with her to the end of her days, had no cure...but to stay alive, she had to take lives. Had to take souls.

Soon after, the Dragons of Nozdormu saught after Adrammalech and killed him for crimes...Istaria was alone...but the Brood of Nozdormu saw her, vulnerable and lonely. They transported her to the Sunstrider Isle, wiping her memories, hoping she would fill a life full of good, rather than that of her mentor. Thankfully, even though her Warlock powers stayed...she became a great asset to the Horde forces, kind and generous, just like the Elven woman who's spirit she houses...."

Istaria grows stronger with each monster she kills, each scourge that drops. She is enjoying her time with the many people she meets, in the Horde territory and out.

It was the Stratholme Lily that I played with as I talked. Not any other flower would do. Korvalus tried to tell me he was nothing special. He is wrong! He's special to me...

Anyone who would protect someone like me, visit someone like me, or even talk to someone like me is special...to me. Special to me. He does not want to be special to me because of his dark history....

His wife and unborn child, ripped away because of something he couldn't stop. And he does not understand, I am here for him, I care about him as much as he cares about me. He claims to be 'Doing what I think is right' but I know, he wouldn't do what is right, if he did not care. Our friendship has bloomed into something....

Just like the Stratholme Lily bloomed. And now it is wilted. All things must come to an end someday. But we can press it in a book. And it's beauty untarnished will be preserved forever....
